Carmina Muñoz, MD, graduated as the top student from the University of the Americas in Ecuador. She practiced rural medicine for 1 year and worked as an assistant resident in urology for 2 years in Ecuador. Currently, she is a 4th year urology resident at University Clinic of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.

She performed an external rotation at Bellvitge Hospital in the Urolithiasis department and at the Kulkarni Institute in India, focusing on reconstructive surgery. Furthermore, she has assisted and presented oral communications at both national and regional congresses during her residency program.
