Can I take it together with antibiotic treatment?
Yes, it can be combined with antibiotic treatment to enhance its effectiveness. The recommended dosage in cases of acute infection is 1 tablet every 8 hours for 5 days alongside the antibiotic.
Which antibiotics work best with Metiofitina®?
It works best with acidophilic antibiotics, which are those that are more effective in a low urinary pH (pH < 6).
Does it work without antibiotics?
Absolutely. Metiofitina® creates a more hostile environment for certain bacteria: at lower pH, a greater bactericidal effect (fewer live bacteria) and bacteriostatic effect (reduced bacterial growth) are achieved.
Is it dangerous to take Metiofitina® for a long period of time?
Not at all. You can take 1 Metiofitina® tablet daily on a long-term basis. It is recommended to take it at night.
Can I take Metiofitina® if I have diabetes?
