To date, no side effects or interactions with other medications have been reported with Savebone®.
Can I crush the tablets if I have difficulty swallowing?
Yes, the tablets can be crushed to make swallowing easier. The effectiveness of the product is maintained.
Can I take it if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Savebone® is a very safe product, but no clinical studies have been conducted in pregnant or breastfeeding women. If in doubt, we recommend consulting your doctor.
How much calcium is recommended per day?
The WHO recommends a daily intake of 1000 mg of calcium for adults aged 19 to 50 years and 1200 mg for those over 50 years.
Why is osteoporosis more common in women over 50?
Osteoporosis is much more common in women after menopause due to the decrease in estrogen levels, which affects bone density.
