Lit-Control pH Down is the first product that acidifies urine (lowers urinary pH), prevents the formation of struvite crystals and decreases the growth rate of bacteria.

This food supplement reduces the formation of infectious kidney stones related to an alkaline urinary pH such as ammonium urate, struvite, brushite, apatite carbonate and hydroxyapatite.  It achieves this thanks to the combined action of phytin as a crystallization inhibitor and L-methionine which allows acidifying the pH and facilitating the solubilization of mineral salts.

What is urinary pH?

Urinary pH is an indicator of acidity or alkalinity of urine and provides information about the general state of health of our body. The average pH value is around 6.2. However, due to its oscillating behavior, it can range from 4.5 to 8, depending largely on diet, waste products, metabolic disturbances, and other causes.

What does it mean to have a high urinary pH?

If there are crystals in the urine and the urinary pH is above 6.2, the conditions are right for calcium phosphate or calcium phosphate-induced calcium oxalate or infectious stones to form.

Are there any side effects or interactions with other medications?

Lit-Control food supplements are made from plant extracts and natural non-animal components. They do not contain lactose.

No side effects have been described.

No drug interactions have been observed.

How can I control and monitor my urinary pH?

Lit-Control pH Meter is the world's first self-diagnostic medical device for urinary pH monitoring. It is indicated for simple, accurate, home monitoring of urinary pH.
