What is urinary pH?
Urinary pH is an indicator of acidity or alkalinity of urine and provides information about the general state of health of our body. The average pH value is around 6.2. However, due to its oscillating behavior, it can range from 4.5 to 8, depending largely on diet, waste products, metabolic disturbances, and other causes.
What does low urinary pH mean?
If there are crystals in the urine and the urinary pH is below 5.5, the conditions are right for cystine or uric acid stones, or uric acid-induced calcium oxalate stones to form.
Are there any side effects or interactions with other medications?
Lit-Control food supplements are made from plant extracts and natural, non-animal components. They do not contain lactose.
